This year our fundraising efforts will benefit the Rady Children's Hospital Peckham Center for Blood and Cancer Disorders. Cancer kills more children than any other disease, more than asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined.

You have the power to do something about it. With support from private and corporate sponsors in our community we can start putting the pieces of these families' lives back together.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

There are many ways that people can contribute and all gifts, large and small, are important. Monetary donations are accepted in the form of cash, checks, PayPal and credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express). All individual (non-corporate) donations with a value of $10,000 or more earn the donor a membership in the prestigious "Circle of Care" which includes an invitation to the exciting annual conference. Donations of time as well as money are welcome. For example, philanthropy plays a powerful role in the Hospital's ability to provide programs and services. Community leadership makes a significant and tangible difference to the children of San Diego.

Caring For Kids Through Philanthropy

From birth through adolescence, children have special health care needs that are different from those of adults. Their bodies respond differently to injury and illness. And most children do not understand – or know how to deal with – the experience of serious illness or hospitalization. Rady Children’s responds to those needs by providing expert pediatric care within a unique healing environment.

Quality pediatric care requires specialized training and a special sensitivity that is perfected through caring for children 100 percent of the time. From mild illness and injury to the most severe medical emergency, Rady Children’s clinical staff and affiliated physicians provide a full continuum of care.
